Well, here I am having my breakfast prior to going to work and I know I should be staying at home for a couple more days. My foot still hurts pretty bad when I walk, it's now developed an interesting selection of coloured bruises, and here I am planning a 90 minute commute. Stupid stupid stupid.
It's not really because of the money either, although the losses are building up and it's beyond a joke... it's mainly the feeling that I ought to work because I'm completely functional so long as I don't try to walk anywhere. So it feels like I'm skiving by staying at home.
Goddamn work ethic. |
