Tough day today. Nothing particularly bad about it, just feels like swimming through treacle. Difficult to get anything done.

One nice bit: met up with Lisa for lunch, which we ate sat on a bench in Finsbury Square overlooking the bowling green. No-one using it yet - too early in the year - but pleasant and peaceful all the same.

Almost finished the Lorna Sage memoir. Wish I could remember her better from when I was at the UEA and she was the Dean of the School of English and American Studies. What memories I have are coaxed out into a comment to an earlier entry, but they're frustratingly hazy.
