Where is England again? No! It isn't that bad! well, at least not at my school.
> Where is England again?
You know that 51st white star they snuck onto your flag a few years back..? That's us.
oOoo, I thought that was Canada
Canada? I thought that was still ours? I'm sure the Queen visited there a while back and they saluted her...
Where's Texas?
Oh! I think that's down the street, next to the Throckmortons! Great people, them Throckmortons.
I dunno about that - have you seen what they get up to during the full moon?
No! Well, once...but I thought it was a nightmare...it took a few months of therapy to calm me down. Thanks for rubbing salt in the wound...
pfffft who cares where England is! We have New England, the old ones not important!

A pale, pale substitute for the real thing... heck, they even have a town called Hanover there don't they? Everyone knows Hanover's in Germany.

It is actually quite safe to visit Oxford. You are relatively unlikely to die in real life, the murder rate there is considerably lower than Colin Dexter would have you believe.
You are, however, quite likely to be run over by a herd of cyclists or trampled to death by a tour party, not done away with in an incredibly elegant puzzle featuring opera, the master of an exclusive college and his sexual misadventures

Ehe. Good to know. Though I would like to visit some of the places he talks about. Not to mention the pubs.
Uh... I haven't heard anything about that. Although, Texas is a pretty big state, I think I should have heard something. But then again, my district is one of the best in the state and the country, so that might be why Geography doesn't seem to be a problem... hmmm...
Me, I can find Iraq, England, Canada, and even Australia on a map... but to find or even get to Texas you need the Texas Pledge of Allegiance and a passport. ;)

There's a big building in Trafalgar Square in central London called the Texas Embassy. It's near the embassies of New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Malaysia and several other countries and it flies the Texan flag outside. It was years before I discovered that it wasn't a diplomatic outpost but was in fact a restaurant... | |
