So, here we are on the boat - happily blogging thanks to a mains inverter which is recharging the laptop off the boat battery.
Last night was spent swinging on the mud weight out in the middle of Malthouse Broad in a dead calm. Today has - so far - been a lazy day tied up to the staithe on the south side of the broad.
Unlike our usual experiences up here, there have been no panics yet. Although the moment when I flung the mud weight over the side, not realising there was a loop of the rope around my ankle, was not one I care to repeat.
So far, so good for the most part though. More later. |
