Ah - thunder. Love it. The smell of the air during the heavy rain. Wonderful.
We've got the balcony door and some windows open. It's nice to be able to do that. We couldn't yesterday because of the delightful couple in the flat opposite who jacked their stereo right up and sat there on their terrace getting drunker and drunker all day.

The've not been much in evidence today - it must be difficult to face your neighbours when they know what your orgasm looks and sounds like.
We've been onto the management company to see what can be done and they've grudgingly agreed to contact the couple about the loud music, but are taking the view that, should they object to the sex, they might get sued for slander. They got quite cross at the idea that they might be in some way responsible for managing what goes on here.

Apart from all that, the long silence is because I've had my nose buried in work on Penny Dreadful. Feedback's been trickling in - thanks to those that have - and I've made some changes, but most of the work has been preparing different formats of it. There's the BBC format, which goes in the post tomorrow. There's the Hollywood feature format, which will go to a professional script reader for assessment. And there's the paperback format, which is now on sale at CafePress. I won't give the link because it's way overpriced - $15 for 141 pages - I only put it there so I could order a few glossy copies myself to give to family and to put on my bookshelf.
