Not the most exciting of days, today. Sitting around doing a bit of Lib Dem work, playing computer / PS2 games and trying to ignore my burgeoning headache. The foot is doing okay, it still hurts when I walk or stand for any length of time but the swelling's almost gone and I can drive without too much discomfort. I'm going to have a go at getting to work tomorrow.
If you heard a strange noise late yesterday it was the sound of thousand of female teenage hearts breaking 'cause the WWE just sacked - no, wait "severed its relationship with" - Jeff Hardy. How popular is he? Well, 255 DeadJournal users have listed him in their interests section, compared with just 15 for the current champion Brock Lesnar. Nothing's been said about why yet, but you have to think it wasn't just because they got bored with him... It's been coming a long time but it's a shame as he's one of the more watchable wrestlers. Still, at least this way he stands a chance of reaching middle age without breaking his neck. |
