I'm Christmas shopping on the internet when I'd rather be asleep - nightmare. Except you need to be asleep to have one of those.
Trying to select a case of wine at Virgin Wines - the site is slow, the search is more like a 'pick random bottle' option... it's a great site and offers good service but, my life, it's frustrating to use.
At least I get to go play at the gimmick sites next, like Firebox and iwantoneofthose. There's something about electric dice, mini racing cars, rubber band Gatling guns, rear view mirrors for computer monitors and teddy bears with heaters inside them that makes me regress 20 years. :o)
I want one of these, please.

Still no sign of a heating engineer... we also now have a software crash. Deep and enduring joy.
I've picked up Forrest Gump to re-read. The quote on the back says: "Anyone who doesn't read this book deserves to spend the winter in North Dakota." Normally I don't respond to threats but that one seemed too dire to ignore ;o) |
