Everyone's back at work now, and the office is buzzing. Well, showing signs of life at least. People are picking up where they left off on December 23rd and asking each other how their break was, and I'm feeling cheated.
It was my choice to work the 27th, 30th and 31st - I could have had two weeks off and returned to work next Monday, but I wouldn't have got paid by anyone during that time, and it's a fair whack of cash to miss out on. But the upshot is that I feel like I didn't have a break, just a few odd moments snatched here and there. |

I know how you feel and I had a "break" if you can call it that - I really feel deflated now I'm back at work
